Stupidity has struck once again! A man in Texas was rushed to the hospital after shooting himself with an “unloaded” gun.
Guns are not toys, you can seriously injure yourself with guns if you are not careful, it should go without saying that when cleaning a firearm or handling it when you don’t intend to use it you should remove the magazine and clear the chamber.
There are a few protocols to follow when handling firearms, we call these protocols gun safety. Always keep the firearm pointed down range or in a safe direction. Always treat firearms as if they are loaded. Always keep your finger off the trigger unless ready to fire.
One man in Texas skipped a few steps and managed to shoot himself in the process. There has been no update on his condition since initial reports that he was rushed to the hospital. Hope this gentleman ends up alright but it’s clear from what we do know that he is at fault for this accidental shooting.
This shooting will end up as a statistic for the gun grabbers to use in policy debate, don’t give them more ammo! Isolated incidents of idiocy are not good for the 2A community.
